Do not use Highest for this shared-hosting profile. The current Traccar Client SDK can make Highest request continuous location updates, increasing battery and server load.
Without internet coverage, live updates cannot reach the server. With buffering enabled, queued records can upload when internet returns.
Pre-start checklist
- Phone battery 100% and power bank if available.
- GPS and mobile data ON.
- Traccar Client shows tracking active.
- Lock the screen and test for 5–10 minutes.
- Organizer confirms your rider number remains visible on the live map.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm the Device Identifier is exact.
- Confirm the Server URL starts with https://.
- Confirm tracking is STARTED.
- Allow Precise Location / Always / Background.
- Exclude Traccar from battery optimization.
- Move outdoors for a GPS fix.
- If there is no data coverage, wait until coverage returns; buffered points will retry uploading.
